Burke and Hare

Synopsis

A horror comedy directed by John Landis, Burke and Hare is based on a true story about the U.K.'s earliest serial killers, William Burke Simon Pegg and William Hare Andy Serkis, gravediggers who lucratively sold the corpses of their victims to a medical college for dissection. Isla Fisher plays Pegg's girlfriend, an actress looking for a patron who might or might not be an accomplice to the murders. Tom Wilkinson plays Dr. Robert Knox, an anatomy lecturer looking for fresh corpses.
